Sediment Transfer System
Sea to Sky Energy Solutions has developed and patented the Sediment Transfer System to continuously and safely move sediment downstream of intake structures and other river obstructions. Sediment accumulation behind structures built in the river impacts flow dynamics, habitats and species, equipment life, and power production for hydro dams. The Sediment Transfer System mimics mother nature and keeps sediment in the ecosystem. The system is automated and will continually transfer sediment year round.
